Arrive in Lhasa (3,650m). Meet your guide and transfer to hotel. Rest and acclimatize. Evening walk around Barkhor Market.
Visit the iconic Potala Palace with over 1,000 rooms. Afternoon, visit Jokhang Temple, the holiest Buddhist temple in Tibet founded 1,400 years ago.
Morning visit to Drepung Monastery. Afternoon, Sera Monastery — famous philosophical debates at 3pm daily.
Drive to Shigatse passing stunning turquoise Yamdrok Lake and Karo La Glacier. Visit Tashi Lhunpo Monastery.
